When use electrical appliances, isn't it nice to know you are only using just enough energy to make the equipment run. Nothing is wasted.

By means of an optimization method, which has been used and patented by the Schartner company, each guest produces less Co2 than using conventional methods, but without ever having to change their behavior patterns. Isn't it nice to know that during your relaxing vacation at Hotel Salzburgerhof, not only can you experience nature but you can also contribute to the preservation of the environment?

Environmental friendliness is very important in our hotel.

We do not use heating oil, our entire hotel is heated by biomass (prior to switching to biomass, we would use 40,000 l of heating oil!)
For the cooling of the hotel, we have installed an integrated system which uses heat emissions to lower overall energy consumption.

The entire ventilation system works with energy-saving converters so that less energy is used.
The electricity we use is provided by a utility company that relies heavily on hydropower.
