Hut evening or wine tasting on Tuesday:
Two rustic huts adorn the heart of the town of Zauchensee right near our hotel. Every week on Tuesday there is a traditional hut night with folk music.
Wine tasting: Exclusive wine tasting in the wine cellar of the Salzburger Hof.
Snowshoe hiking on Wednesday
Through the romantic Zauchensee forest with 2 different routes. Several guides and a Zauchensee hotelier will show you how romantic an evening hike can be.
Then you can look forward to a hot cup of Glühwein (spiced wine), which we will enjoy in the deep, snowy woods. Snowshoes are available for rent for free.
Guest race on Thursday afternoon
We, the Zauchensee hotel & hospitality association, your hosts, together with the Zauchensee lift company organize a unique and professional guest race in the lower part of the World Cup course. In addition to the individual rankings in the various categories, there is an interesting hotel ranking with a wonderful challenge cup. Various hosts also regularly participate in their own hotelier category of race.
After the race, there is an awards ceremony for all participants in the World Cup arena.
Horse-drawn carriage ride
We are happy to organize a romantic carriage ride for you through the picturesque winter landscape in Zauchensee. A very special experience and at the same time a beautiful memory of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee.
Ice skating on Thursday evening
Zauchensee offers beautiful scenery for floodlit ice skating. With music and entertainment, ice skating will be a special experience. Ice skates are available for rent on site.
