CURRENT: Our wine rarities from Austria
Wine at the Salzburger Hof is very important and is a large part of what we offer. In our wine cellar we store hundreds of fine wines, mainly from Austria, but also from Italy, Spain, France, and the new world. We invest much time to taste and also purchase the best wines produced from all over the world. "We pay special attention to procuring only the most exceptional vintages" says certified sommelier Sebastian Mayrhofer.
Our wine philosophy:
We taste the wines regularly, and only when they have reached that important harmony between body, acidity, and tannin do we put them on our wine list. We emphasize our Austrian wines, because several years ago our wine growers started producing reduced quantities, thereby raising the overall quality of our domestic wines.

A wine cellar including vinothèque and tasting room as well as regular wine tastings with one of our certified sommeliers on staff, or with our certified sommelier, Sebastian Mayrhofer, himself.
