The Sonnalm sledding run is only about 600 meters from the Salzburger Hof. If you don't have your own sled, you can rent one on-site. And where do you warm up? - Naturally in one of the cozy huts: either at Bifei's Hütt'n or at the Hochnössler Alm. Sledding through a deeply snowy winter landscape is definitely part of your diverse winter vacation in Salzburg! Ready for the adventure? Let's go sledding!

SONNALM SLEDDING RUN

The 3.1 km long sledding run in Zauchensee starts at the Sonnalm ski hut (1,740 m) and ends at the parking lot in Zauchensee (410 m difference in altitude) - about 600 meters from the 4-star superior Hotel Salzburger Hof. Difficulty level: medium. Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of uphill walking are required. The romantic night descent with a headlamp is especially popular.

HOCHBIFANG SLEDDING RUN

The nature sledding run is lit until midnight and goes from the Hochnössler Alm (1,300 m) and Bifei's Hütt'n over 3.2 km to the Hochbifang valley station (400 m difference in altitude). Difficulty level: easy to medium. Sleds and zipfelbobs can be rented at the Hochnössler-Alm and Bifei's Hütt'n, and you can get to the top by walking or taking the sled taxi.

KÖNIGSLEHEN RADSTADT SLEDDING RUN

At 6.1 km from the Kemahdhöhe (1,543 m), it is the longest illuminated sledding run in the Salzburger Sportwelt. It is also illuminated! (691 m difference in altitude). Difficulty level: medium. Sleds can be rented at the valley or mountain station of the Königslehenbahn in Radstadt. With the Ski Amadé ski pass, you can take the gondola from Radstadt or Altenmarkt to the starting point for free.

WINTERBAUER SLEDDING RUN

The sledding run, illuminated until midnight, goes from the Berggasthof Winterbauer (1,050 m) over 2.2 km to the Urbisweg in Altenmarkt (230 m difference in altitude). Difficulty level: medium. The sledding run can also be enjoyed with a zipfelbob or a plastic minibob. Sleds and zipfelbobs can be rented at the Winterbauer.
