SKIPLUS AT SALZBURGER HOF - YOUR SKI HOTEL RIGHT ON THE SLOPES

Top location directly on the slopes - Ski-in & Ski-out

You can access the ski slopes directly from the luxurious ski room of the Salzburger Hof, and with just a few strides, you can reach the Rosskopfbahn valley station, leading to the Zauchensee - Flachauwinkl ski area in Ski amadé.

Ski rental and ski schools right next door:

In front of the ski storage area, you'll find the ski rental and Sportshop Intersport Schneider. Here, you can rent skis and equipment with a 10% discount through online reservation in advance or on-site with a voucher from the reception.
The children's ski school Balla, with the ski school office, meeting point, and practice lift, is located opposite. The Skischule Walchhofer Top Alpin is also within walking distance. You can book ski courses directly through the respective ski school, with courses mainly starting on Sundays.

Luxury ski room with a ski museum

Each room has its own heated and ventilated locker for skis, ski boots, ski clothing, and complete equipment. Your room key card opens your personal ski locker. While there, you can also admire the trophies and skis from the Mayrhofer family's past. Then, you can head directly from the ski room to the slopes!

Skipass service at the hotel

To avoid long waits at the ticket office, we recommend our skipass service at the reception for your Ski amadé ski pass for 2 - 8 days. Additionally, outside of holiday periods, hotel guests can benefit from our flat-rate rates.

Weekly guest ski race

The Zauchensee Aktiv host association, to which we at the Salzburger Hof also belong, collaborates with the Zauchensee lift company to organize a unique and professional guest ski race on the lower part of the World Cup track. In addition to individual categories in various classes, there is also a hotel ranking, where the best group of guests can bring the beautiful trophy back to the hotel, to be celebrated with a bottle of champagne from the hotel. Hosts also regularly participate in the race, including Sebastian Mayrhofer and World Champion Michael Walchhofer, in a separate hoteliers' class. Afterward, there is a sociable award ceremony for all participants in the World Cup Arena.

Mountain Hut Evening

Two rustic mountain huts adorn the center of Zauchensee, right across from our hotel. Every week, one of the two alpine restaurants hosts a traditional hut party with live music.

Learn to ski with a lot of fun and games: That's what our little and big guests can do at the Kinderskischule Balla in Zauchensee. The ski school office, meeting point, and practice slope with a magic carpet and button lift are right across from our family hotel, the Salzburger Hof. So close that you can watch your children practice from our panoramic lounge with a cup of Illy coffee. The Kinderskischule Balla in Zauchensee offers great group and private ski courses, or how about a guided freeride tour in your winter vacation in the powder paradise? After an exciting day at the ski school, you can relax in the in-house wellness area, or the kids can unwind in the children's area.

SKIING WITH FUN & CARE

Learn to ski playfully with professional and loving care - for active kids and relaxed parents.

We arrange pick-up and drop-off services to and from ski lessons during lunch. Ski courses (from age 4) are individually bookable from Sunday for 3 - 5 days, either 2.5 or 4 hours per day. Please book ski lessons directly with the ski school.

Morning: 2.5 hours of skiing lessons (10:00 – 12:30)
Pick-up service by our hotel childcare from Ski School Balla
Lunch with supervision (à la carte meals - not included)
Drop-off service to Ski School Balla
Afternoon: 1.5 hours of additional skiing lessons (14:00 - 15:30) or childcare in the children's playroom until 21:00
